Communication is Key
Wifi on Exuma is a delicate thing. You may wake up without Wifi, or with excellent Wifi, with no rhyme or reason. The great thing about not having Wifi is that you truly cannot work, so take advantage of that!

The internet can be spotty, so if you are needing it for work access, you should plan to work off of cell service. Most plans allow you to upgrade to international plans for a small daily fee, but double check before you arrive. Cell service is quite good on most of the island, although inside of the villa (which is built to Miami-Dade county hurricane standards), the concrete can block your signal.
Before you head out to a restaurant, please look up their phone number and check that they are open - even if their website says it is. There is not a land line at this location.
